We did a new new and visited Duke's.
But we were a bit disappointed because is was better than we expected.
We will be back for Taco Tuesday. -

Great atmosphere and vibes. Service and food were both incredible. I had the grilled fish sandwich and a tropical mule and my wife had the steak tacos. Both very flavorful and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going there again.
Only con is parking. It's in a congested area so there aren't many options for free parking but there are plenty of paid parking lots and valet services readily available. -

I really wanted to like this place. We've been wanting to go for a while, and finally, we went for my birthday. I asked the host if we could sit on the patio so we could have a clear ocean view, and that we were willing to wait however long it would take. We went to the bar and ordered drinks. $13 drinks tasted very average at and watered down. But, we were in a great mood and nothing mattered at that point. The hostess came over and showed us to our table, which was in the middle of the patio, from which we couldn't really enjoy the view. I went back to the host stand and asked if there was a chance we could move since there was a rail table getting cleaned off, and we would've fit there, instead of taking up a 6 top (there were 3 of us), and they told me "I already know what you're gonna ask" but we've lost our place in line by getting sat and that they could put us back on the waiting list to wait another 20-30 minutes. It was frustrating because we asked for a rail table in the first place but didn't get it, and lost our place in the waitlist by getting sat at a table we didn't really like.
We moved on and put in an order. Ceviche was cut way too big, fish and chips were tasteless, and overall, the quality of food was disappointing. That's too bad because the view really is amazing. But unfortunately, the service and the food didn't match up to it.
I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for a special occasion. -

Excellent view, excellent service, delicious food!
We came for lunch, It was a beautiful day, so we requested to sit outside and wanted to be near the view and only had to wait 5 minutes.
Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We started with a cocktail, I had the tropical mule which was refreshing and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the hint of pineapple. We then shared the Panko breaded calamari. It was cooked perfectly and the dipping sauces were delightful!
I ordered the macadamia nut crusted swordfish and it was wonderful. The fish was moist and flaky and I loved the lemon caper sauce. It was served with rice and a bok choy coleslaw. Everything was delicious and I would definitely get again.
The staff were all friendly and tried to make our dining experience as pleasant as possible. I especially like that there is a lift for handicapped to get up and down from the street. Parking can be hard to find, however, there is valet right out in front. We enjoyed the Hawaiian music so much!! We will definitely be back! -

This is definitely a place to visit for the views. Don't get me wrong: the food was good. It just wasn't great. We came here for breakfast and I got an omelette that came with an amazing macadamia nut pesto. Double the pesto and would have been a very happy camper. The accompanying potatoes were kind of bland and not at all crispy, but they were fine. Given the location, I thought the prices were extremely reasonable.
But like I said, it's all about the view. You can make a reservation for a table, but not for a table in a specific location. We came a half hour after they opened on a Sunday morning and got the last table right at the edge of the balcony. It took another hour for the outside patio to fill up though, and I think all the outdoor seating was nice.
All and all, I would be happy to come back for another breakfast.
